All young professionals in their 20s and 30s are invited to join us at Colados Coffee and Crepes for an evening of coffee and networking with like-minded individuals, while hearing from guest speaker, Vanessa Garcia!

Meet Vanessa Garcia

Vanessa is driven by authentic connection! She is a Penn State graduate who finished her undergraduate in Sydney, Australia. This experience inspired her to be a lifelong learner with a passion for experiencing and contributing to diverse communities as well as having a more global perspective as it relates to relationships, business and motherhood. 

After a unique opportunity working in luxury goods sales on cruise ships in the Caribbean for two years, in 2012 she joined a local recruiting firm.  Vanessa and her business partner, then launched Performant Scout in 2015 to take advantage of their shared work ethic, strategic collaboration and deep experience in the executive search space.   

With her partner’s well-deserved retirement approaching this year in 2024, Vanessa is energized for the new opportunities and growth ahead for Performant Scout. Making an impact through supporting local non-profits and other community initiatives is part of what drives Vanessa to move the needle every day. She is passionate about supporting causes that provide a brighter future for all, especially her spunky 8 and 6-year-old children!

Families with a child battling cancer, a blood disorder, or another life-threatening disease are invited to join us as we explore the therapeutic and recreational equine environment at Horses Help.  Our day will be filled with wellness activities including crafts, sound healing, and yoga.  Informational sessions, interactions with the horses, and picture opportunities will be available too.

Hosted by The Southwest Kids Cancer Foundation and Arizona Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks, in collaboration with our Pediatric Oncology community partners.

During this event, adult caregivers will have the opportunity to experience yoga, sound healing, reiki, massage, reflexology, and much more!  Children will participate in mindfulness activities including mindful movement, stories, and art!  We will join together for a mindful eating celebration with a catered lunch!
